Ben Dollard

Ben Dollard joined Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) as President of the Americas division in January 2020 with responsibility for leading the business across the region. Since that time, Ben has re-shaped the Treasury Americas business with a relentless focus on consumers, innovation and unlocking the potential of the premium and luxury business. Ben has been instrumental in the acquisition of Frank Family Vineyards and, most recently, DAOU Vineyards with an eye on future growth.

With 20+ years’ experience in the alcohol beverage industry in the Americas region, Ben joined TWE having worked in various senior executive leadership roles with Constellation Brands in the US and Canada. Ben has had extensive General Management experience in leading the growth agenda for wine and other alcohol beverages, including all aspects of marketing, sales and operations across a number of key roles including Chief Growth Officer, President of the Canadian division, Chief Marketing Officer and head of International Markets for Constellation Brands’ Wine and Spirits Division.

Daniel Placencia

Born and raised on the California Central Coast, Daniel spent 23 years in Central Coast wine production before joining Scott Laboratories in 2021. He started as a harvest intern and worked his way up to managing all filtration operations of a custom crush facility. Most recently, Daniel managed a mobile filtration company where he perfected the art of à la carte crossflow, pressure leaf filtration, and Velcorin dosing. Currently he provides technical filtration expertise to the wine, beer, cider, distilled spirits, and alternative alcohol beverage industries.

Andrew Adams

Andrew Adams is the editor of the Wine Analytics Report and has been a wine industry journalist for more than a decade. Adams grew up in the city of Sonoma, Calif., and graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in journalism. While a reporter and editor for daily newspapers in Oregon and California for nearly a decade, Adams won awards for investigative and business reporting. In 2009, Adams left the newspaper industry for a harvest internship at a winery in Napa Valley. That internship led to a fulltime position in the cellar and laboratory where Adams worked for three harvests before joining the staff at Wines & Vines magazine, which later merged with Wine Business Monthly in 2019. The Wine Analytics Report is a monthly, digital report on the U.S. wine industry featuring original reporting and information from the proprietary databases of Wines Vines Analytics and data supplied by partner research firms. In addition to overseeing all editorial content and data visualization for the analytics report, Adams is a regular contributor to Wine Business Monthly.
