Jacqueline Strum is President & Publisher of Wine Enthusiast Media, where she leads one of the wine industry’s most influential consumer media brands. A second-generation leader of the family-owned business, she has helped transform Wine Enthusiast from a traditional publisher into a multi-platform ecosystem spanning editorial content, ratings and reviews, social media, events, travel, licensing, and data-driven marketing solutions—reaching more than six million consumers.
Under her leadership, Wine Enthusiast has expanded its tasting program into the industry’s largest and most diverse panel of critics, blind tasting approximately 25,000 wines and spirits annually. In September 2026, the company broadened the program to include low- and no-alcohol beverages, reflecting the evolving ways consumers drink and engage with the category.
Strum has also led the launch of Cork + Compass Travel, the Wine Enthusiast Tasting Room Directory in partnership with Tock, and The Corner Seat, her thought-leadership column exploring wine, consumer behavior, business, and culture. During her tenure, Wine Enthusiast earned its first James Beard Award while continuing to modernize its digital storytelling and expand its industry influence. Strum serves on the Board of Directors of the Wine Market Council and previously served on the Wine & Spirits Board of the American Cancer Society. She holds a degree in International Business with a minor in Fine Arts from George Washington University and an Advanced Certificate from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
