Sabrine Rodems is the winemaker for Wrath Wines in California’s Santa Lucia Highlands, where she has led vineyard-driven winemaking since joining the winery in 2004 and becoming head winemaker in 2006. Her work focuses on Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Sauvignon Blanc sourced from estate and select regional vineyards, with an emphasis on site expression and minimal intervention in the cellar.
Rodems earned a Master of Science in Viticulture and Enology from the University of California, Davis, following an earlier career in theater and production where she developed the artistic and technical foundation that informs her approach to wine.
In addition to her role at Wrath, Rodems produces small-lot wines under her Scratch label and is active in industry organizations including the Monterey County Vintners & Growers Association and the American Society for Enology and Viticulture. Her wines have received multiple accolades, including double-gold recognition at the Jerry Mead New World Wine Competition.
